Over the road Class A driver

Hemlock Logistics is seeking an experienced Over the Road (OTR) Class A Driver to join our dedicated team in the Transportation sector. Responsibilities

• Transport goods over long distances safely and efficiently
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, routes, and deliveries
• Adhere to federal and state regulations regarding weight limits, driving hours, and safety protocols
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, and cargo issues
• Ensure that cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and transportation

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Minimum of 2 years of over-the-road driving experience preferred
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Willingness to be away from home for extended periods

• Wage .55 to .58 per miles
