Overnight Hotel Security

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Overnight Hotel Security. The Overnight Security Personnel is responsible for maintaining a safe, security and comfortable environment for hotel guests, staff and property during the overnight hours. this role ensures the protection of the hotel asset by conducting regular patrols, responding promptly to incidents and enforcing hotel safety policy's The overnight security is the primary point of contact for emergency situation and is expected to handle all issues with professionalism, discretion and calm judgment. Key responsibilities including assisting guests with security-related concerns, documenting incidents, and supporting overnight hotel operations as needed.  Strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to remain alert and responsive throughout the night are essential.

Job description

• Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property
• Exercise key control, process lost and found items
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of property
• Conduct Fire Watch when needed
• Promote safe work practices to include life safety inspections
• Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed
• Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Other reasonable duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communications
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred
