Job Description

Resident Assistant $20 - $22CNA $22 - $24Provide awake overnight support, ensuring our residents’ safety, comfort, and well-being.  Join The Meadows of Wadena as an Overnight Resident Assistant and start a rewarding career.If you're devoted to making a difference in the lives of seniors and committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care, we’d love to hear from you.No experience? No problem! We offer comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed and thrive as a valued member of our team.Responsibilities:
  • Assisting residents with personal cares as scheduled.
  • Performing housekeeping duties.
  • Observing residents and reporting changes in physical and emotional condition.
  • Passing medications and supervising resident self-administration. 
Overnight Shift (10p – 6:30a)
  • 40 hours every two weeks
  • Includes every other weekend
- Shift differentials for overnights and weekends!- We are excited to offer paid time off and a 403b retirement plan open to all employees, both effective immediately upon hire.  For employees hired at 30+ hours/week we have great health insurance that offers a variety of coverage and cost levels, and dental and vision insurance.  Full-time employees (40 hours/week) receive paid holidays!-Tuition reimbursement is available for post-secondary nursing degree programs.Qualifications:We are seeking individuals who have a sensitivity and aptitude for working with the elderly.Successful candidates must have strong problem-solving skills, good judgement, dependability, and flexibility.Must perform all required job tasks as trained and directed and respect the confidentiality and personal privacy of residents.Prior to starting work, all employees are required to pass a criminal investigation as solely determined by the State of Minnesota.
