Key Responsibilities (Overnight Budtender)
- Greet and assist late-night customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Educate customers on the various hemp products we offer, including their benefits, effects, and usage.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, including new strains, product lines, and promotions.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations regarding hemp product sales.
- Participate in inventory management, stocking shelves, product displays, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment — particularly preparing the store for opening the next day.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming store environment during overnight hours.
- Follow and encourage others to follow the vision and values of Hempie’s.
- Multitask quickly and thoroughly while being adaptable, dependable, and having a strong work ethic.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Adhere to Hempie’s rules and dress code at all times.
- Perform additional overnight duties such as light cleaning, merchandising, and restocking as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have at least 32 hours of weekly availability (overnight shifts).
- Comfort and reliability working independently and/or with a small overnight crew.
- Passion for hemp and wellness products.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Dependable and trustworthy — overnight staff are trusted to keep the store safe and secure.
