Mass-RI Veterinary ER is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced, emergency and critical care team. Our vision is a simple one, to make the community and the animals and people in it, happier and healthier. You can expect numerous in-house CE opportunities, and any mentoring available.· You are an experienced Veterinary Assistant who is a self-starter and enjoys the variety that emergency medicine brings. You have previous experience with proper animal restraint, basic surgery prep, and assisting veterinary technicians and doctors in a clinical setting. If you enjoy the adrenaline rush of emergency medicine, this job is for you!This is a full-time position:Saturday – 7:30am-3:30pmHolidays are required. Prior experience working in a veterinary setting. Experience in handling animals and performing basic animal care tasks.Compassion and patience when handling animals. Basic knowledge of animal behavior and medical terminology.Willingness to continue learning and stay updated on veterinary practices.Must be 18 years or older to apply.
