Our values drive our dedication to providing a world class education.Position: MS Music Teacher Position type: Full Time Position location (School): First Philadelphia Preparatory Charter SchoolDepartment: Student Support Employment status: Exempt Employment duration: 10 months Position Summary: The teacher is responsible for creating resources for our curriculum and aligning our curriculum with the PSSA Assessment Anchors. A teacher also works as part of a grade level team to coordinate school wide efforts in order to meet the goals of the school in service to the scholars.Major ResponsibilitiesDevelop rigorous and appropriate lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in cooperation with school-based leadership

Work closely with school leaders to analyze student assessment data to measure progress and use data to inform instruction

Collaborate in grade level teams to discuss student work, share best practices and plan events for joy and humor

Engage families in their children's education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication
