Job Description
*This is a paid internship*SummarySupports the design team in creating, testing, and producing corrugated packaging while gaining hands-on experience in packaging design, specifications, and workflows.Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in designing corrugated packaging products under supervision.
- Support spec creation and updates for customer items.
- Learn and assist with testing processes, including stacking analysis and compression performance.
- Help prepare cape layouts and workflow documentation.
- Assist in ordering and tracking cutting dies.
- Collaborate with design, sales, and production teams to support project execution.
- Maintain organized documentation and design files.
- Participate in training to develop knowledge of corrugated materials, design software, and industry standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in packaging, design, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with design software is a plus
- Positive attitude and eagerness to develop technical skills
