You'll work closely with the production team to verify quality, prepare shipments, and maintain a safe workspace, playing a key part in the company's success.What You'll DoAs a Packer, you will be responsible for:
- Packing finished awning products according to work orders, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.*
- Verifying that all parts and products meet company and quality specifications.*
- Preparing items for shipment by wrapping, cushioning, and labeling items properly.*
- Coordinating outgoing shipments, including assisting with loading and unloading trucks.*
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area to promote efficiency and safety.*
- Operating hand tools and packing equipment safely and effectively.
- Previous experience in packaging, production, or warehouse environments preferred.*
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and work orders.*
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.*
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.*
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.*
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.*
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs; team lifts will be used when required.*
