Packaging Associate – 1st ShiftLocation: Sterling Heights, MIArea: 14 1/2 Mile Road & MoundShift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PMPay: $15.50/hour
We are currently hiring Packaging Associates for a facility in Sterling Heights, MI. This position involves preparing and repackaging automotive parts for shipment to dealerships in a clean, fast-paced work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Package and repackage automotive parts according to company guidelines
- Inspect parts and packaging for accuracy, damage, and quality
- Label, sort, and organize parts for shipment
- Follow packing instructions and production requirements
- Prepare completed orders for delivery or distribution
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Support other packaging and production tasks as needed
Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous packaging, warehouse, or production experience is a plus
- Automotive parts experience is helpful but not required
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work at a steady pace
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Strong attendance is important
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to work in a team environment
