INTERVENTIONAL PAIN MANAGEMENT PHYSICIAN Full-Time | $400,000–$450,000 + Sign-On Bonus | Monday–Friday | Cumberland, MD Area
About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking enthusiastic Interventional Pain Management Physicians to expand our growing practice and elevate the quality of life for our patients through personalized, accessible care. This is more than a clinical role - we offer physicians the unique opportunity to market and grow a legendary practice while advancing the pain management specialty in a dynamic, well-resourced environment.
We welcome new graduates. The right candidate will step in as the sole provider at a state-accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center in the Cumberland, Maryland area, managing 20–22 patients daily across procedures and pain management, while supervising two mid-level providers. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of an established patient base from day one.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $400,000 – $450,000 annually
- Production Incentive: Easily attainable production bonus on top of base salary - your effort is directly rewarded
- Sign-On Bonus: Available
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (flexibility available)
- Location: Cumberland, MD Area
- Vacation: 20 days annually
- Paid Holidays: 8
- CME: 5 days + $1,500 annual allowance

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care including new consultations, follow-ups, and interventional procedures
- See an average volume of 24+ patients per day in an established outpatient setting
- Interpret imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to diagnose conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
- Supervise two mid-level providers and collaborate with leadership to ensure a comprehensive, team-based approach to patient care
- Actively participate in practice growth, marketing initiatives, and the continued advancement of the pain management specialty
Procedures & Interventions
Candidates should demonstrate familiarity and/or proficiency in the following (may vary by site):
- Medial branch blocks & facet joint injections
- Sacroiliac joint & peripheral joint injections
- Epidural steroid injections & nerve blocks
- Spinal Cord Stimulation & Peripheral Nerve Stimulation
- Vertebroplasty / Kyphoplasty
- Discography & Disc Regenerative Therapy
- Prolotherapy & trigger point injections
Qualifications
- ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pain Management (required)
- Board Certified/Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or Anesthesiology (preferred)
- Board Certification in Neurology considered with sufficient pain management experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
- Ability to thrive independently as a sole provider while collaborating with a supportive leadership team
