Job Title: Paint PrepperShift: 1st ShiftLocation: Columbus, NebraskaPay: $18.00 per hourJob Summary: We are looking for a dependable Paint Prepper to prepare parts and materials for the painting process in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on surface preparation, cleaning, and ensuring all parts are ready for high-quality finishing.Responsibilities:
- Prep parts for paint by sanding, grinding, masking, and cleaning
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure proper surface condition
- Organize and stage materials for the paint department
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Previous paint prep or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift 4050 lbs as needed
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and solid work ethic
