Job Description
PainterLocation: Grand Island, NEPay: $21.00/hourShift: 1st Shift, 6: 30 AM 4: 30 PMAre you detail-oriented and enjoy hands-on work? We're looking for a Painter to join a manufacturing team in Grand Island. This position plays an important role in preparing and finishing products while ensuring quality standards are met throughout the painting process.What You'll Do
- Load parts onto the paint line conveyor system
- Inspect materials and identify surface or material defects
- Prepare components for painting through scuff sanding, cleaning, wiping, tacking and minor defect repair
- Assist with paint line operations and product flow
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools and equipment
- Cross-train in other areas of the paint department as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work procedures
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn multiple functions within the department
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Previous painting, finishing or production experience is helpful but not required
