American Workforce Group is hiring full-time Pallet Repair Technicians for a premier logistics restoration facility in Algona, WA. - Inspect damaged wooden pallets and efficiently identify structural component defects.
- Rebuild and restore pallets to exact grade specifications using pneumatic nail guns and power saws.
- Meet or exceed daily high-volume facility production quotas (254 pallets per day baseline).
- Sort, grade, stack, and stage finished structural components across active warehouse zones.
- Perform routine safety checks on assigned pneumatic tools and follow strict plant safety rules.
Details for Pallet Repair Technician:
- Pay Rate: $19.00/hour during initial training | Transitions to $0.54 per pallet (Uncapped Piece Rate) once output goals are met.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Finish times vary based on personal productivity).
- Location: Algona, WA.
Requirements for Pallet Repair Technician:
- Prior verifiable experience working as a Pallet Repair Technician, Pallet Builder, or in industrial wood assembly required.
- Proven speed and proficiency utilizing pneumatic nail guns, tear-down bars, and commercial saws.
- Physical capability to handle heavy manual labor, including consistently lifting 50–75+ lbs all shift.
- Goal-driven work ethic with the capability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; ability to wear standard required PPE daily.
