Paralegal- Construction Litigation

Connect Staffing is searching for an experienced Construction Litigation Paralegal in Houston, TX, to support attorneys through all phases of complex litigation, from pre-claim investigation through trial and appeal. This role requires a strong command of court procedures, sharp organizational skills, and the ability to keep cases moving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support federal and state court litigation, including AAA arbitration matters and e-filing.

• Manage calendaring, deadlines, hearings, and court appearances.

• Draft routine pleadings and filings (e.g., motions, subpoenas, notices).

• Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy case files, deposition materials, and trial binders.

• Assist with document production, including redaction and Bates labeling.

• Conduct legal research and cite-check briefs.

• Coordinate depositions and prepare witness files.

• Support eDiscovery efforts, including ESI protocols, database management, document review, and production workflows.

• Maintain deposition and exhibit databases; assist with trial preparation and briefing materials.

• Manage cases from inception through resolution with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification preferred.

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.

• Thorough knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules.

• Advanced organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work overtime as needed.

• Professional communication skills and a high level of discretion.
