Job Description
POSITION Paralegal Position Type: Temporary Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Assignment Length: Approximately 3-Months, possibly longer. DESCRIPTION Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support internal counsel and the Legal Department with contract preparation, legal filings, and administrative functions. This onsite role involves managing a high volume of routine agreements, maintaining legal databases, and assisting senior legal and HR leadership with a variety of legal and operational matters. Key Responsibilities Support internal counsel in the preparation of physician agreements, including professional services and medical directorships. Prepare initial drafts of agreements using approved templates and review documents for compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Draft and review routine contracts such as confidentiality agreements, transfer agreements, and educational affiliation agreements. Prepare, manage, and maintain standard templates for routine contracts. Manage contracts within the contract database, including opening matters in the electronic filing system. Circulate finalized agreements for signature and track execution, renewal dates, and follow-ups. Manage legal services requests submitted through the electronic contract management system and open corresponding internal Legal Department files. Develop and maintain dashboards or visibility tools to track contract and matter status. Prepare routine legal filings, including registration renewals, statements of information, and fictitious business name statements. Update litigation tracking spreadsheets as requested. Assist the VP of HR and Assistant General Counsel with various legal and administrative matters. Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with electronic filing systems, contract management systems, and standard office software Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with legal, HR, and leadership teams High school diploma or GED (required) INDH
