Job Description
Eden Senior Care, founded in 2016, is a growing Healthcare Management company, focused on managing and operating Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living communities in Minnesota, Ohio Wisconsin. We are seeking a meticulous and driven Paralegal to join our team. This role is available on both full-time and part-time bases, offering flexibility and opportunity in a rewarding field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, concise analysis to support attorneys and business teams.
- Draft, review, redline, and prepare contracts, agreements, amendments, riders, and closing documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with corporate governance, including maintaining corporate records, filings, and compliance documentation.
- Support commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases, title review, Change of Ownership (CHOW) filings, and state licensing submissions.
- Develop and manage closing checklists, coordinate revisions from attorneys, lenders, and clients, and ensure all negotiated changes are accurately captured.
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations in all filings and submissions, particularly for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
- Provide support on additional projects as assigned, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate required.
- 3–5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in corporate, MA, or commercial real estate law.
- Strong background in real estate transactions, including title clearance and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and review legal documents with precision.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with experience managing last-minute changes in complex transactions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal research platforms, and document management/redlining tools (e.g., DocuSign, Word).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
