Paralegal / Legal Assistant

• Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts.
• Strong Word skills to prepare documents for court, including TOA and TOC.
• Assist attorneys in preparing discovery documents and formatting documents.
• Managing litigation deadlines and calendaring, with understanding of deadlines.
• Inputting and tracking calendar entries in deadline management software and Outlook.
• Coordinate with attorneys’ services and overnight couriers to file and serve documents.
• Assist with document management and file organization, and e-filing documents.
• Assist attorneys and staff with daily administrative tasks.

Position Requirements:

• 4 years' litigation experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be a self-starter who is well organized and can handle multiple tasks with the ability to prioritize work.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail
• Capable of taking ownership and retaining accountability for tasks
• Professional appearance and demeanor
