Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support related to regulatory compliance matters.

Review and respond to correspondence from regulated entities regarding compliance with the Department of Financial Services’ Cybersecurity Regulation
Respond to phone calls and voicemails regarding cybersecurity regulatory compliance matters
Address related matters and inquiries as instructed
Provide legal and administrative support as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

Knowledge of basic legal processes, legal terminology, and legal forms
Knowledge of legal research techniques
Ability to read, understand, and interpret laws, legal documents, regulations, and other written materials
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s Degree
Paralegal Certificate
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing complex clerical-level legal support services to an attorney
Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite
At least 1 year of full-time work experience with the same employer

Preferred Experience

Cybersecurity or data privacy experience
Experience reviewing and responding to email and correspondence from government-regulated businesses and individuals

Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
