Job Details:Our esteemed law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Paralegal with a specialty in Real Estate Lending. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to be a part of a high-performing team that handles critical real estate lending transactions. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to, assisting in closings, preparing loan documents, and performing due diligence on real estate transactions. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and review of loan documents, including promissory notes, mortgages, security agreements, loan agreements, and other related documents.
2. Coordinate and assist in the closing process of real estate lending transactions, including the preparation of closing checklists, coordination with clients, lenders, and opposing counsel, and the preparation and filing of necessary legal documents.
3. Conduct thorough due diligence on all aspects of real estate transactions, including title and survey review, environmental assessments, and property inspections.
4. Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, lenders, and other parties involved in real estate lending transactions.
5. Maintain organized files and records of all transactions and ensure all documents are accurately filed and easy to locate.
6. Keep up-to-date with changes in real estate lending laws and regulations, and ensure all transactions are in compliance.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in real estate PRIVATE lending is required.
2. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
3. Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software related to real estate lending.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. High degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
9. Familiarity with the preparation and filing of legal documents related to real estate lending transactions.
10. Strong understanding of real estate lending laws and regulations.
