Job DetailsResponsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of Family Law and Probate matters, including Divorce, Child Support, Alimony, Custody, Estates, and Guardianship.
• Conduct thorough and detailed discovery, and prepare subpoenas and pleadings.
• Manage and organize complex case files to ensure information is easily accessible.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, agreements, and legal correspondences.
• Attend trials and assist attorneys with trial preparation and in-court proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other members of the legal team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal regulations and changes in law that may affect clients.
• Perform legal research and provide attorneys with pertinent information.
• Ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner, and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in Family Law or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or related field is preferred.
• Paralegal certification is a plus.
• Extensive experience with Domestic Relations, Divorce, Child Support, Alimony, Custody, and Probate Litigation.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal documents and large case loads.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong research skills and familiarity with legal databases and research tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professional discretion.
