Job Description

Paralegal – Litigation Department

Location: Philadelphia, PA | Status: Full-Time | FLSA: Non-Exempt

Join Our TeamLundy Law is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting our attorneys through case management, investigation, and preparation of legal documents to ensure our clients receive exceptional representation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing legal documents, briefs, pleadings, and discovery requests

  • Schedule depositions, hearings, and maintain attorney calendars

  • Request and review medical records, bills, and other documentation

  • File pleadings and discovery documents electronically and maintain case files

  • Transcribe attorney dictation and draft correspondence

  • Communicate with clients, doctors, and witnesses regarding case progress

  • Arrange client transportation and coordinate logistics as needed

  • Locate and prepare witnesses and interpreters for court appearances

  • Monitor deadlines and maintain accurate follow-up systems

  • Stay current on rules, regulations, and legislation relevant to litigation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of Paralegal experience (personal injury experience preferred)

  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and court processes

  • Proficient in case management and word processing software (Needles, Litify, or similar)

  • Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
