Job Description
Paralegal Location: Kingston NY Payrate: 55,000.00 Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Job Type: Temp to PermParalegal will provide legal and administrative support to attorneys by conducting research, preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting with case management. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information. *
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence. *
- Maintain and manage case files, records, and legal databases. *
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, depositions, and meetings. *
- File legal documents with courts and government agencies. *
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel. *
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents. *
- Summarize depositions, transcripts, and legal findings. *
- Assist with document discovery and evidence management.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree; paralegal certification may be preferred. *
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court systems. *
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. *
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. *
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications. *
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. *
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
