Position Summary
The Paralegal delivers comprehensive administrative, organizational, and legal support to the General Counsel while serving as supplemental support for the various business units within the company. This individual collaborates with cross-functional teams and outside counsel on transactional, compliance, regulatory, and governance matters in a dynamic, on-site work setting.

Essential Functions
- Create, examine, and polish legal materials including contracts, distributor and purchaser agreements, communications, entity formation documents, and internal correspondence
- Administer and systematize legal documentation, business records, and contractual repositories
- Oversee and regulate due dates for legal submissions, regulatory mandates, permits, authorizations, and contract extensions
- Execute research on factual and legal issues involving manufacturing processes, product regulatory compliance, environmental statutes, workforce regulations, and corporate affairs
- Develop materials for meetings, deal closings, and litigation matters
- Orchestrate internal review processes and inter-office communications
- Direct scheduling functions, coordinate meetings, and facilitate signature processes
- Preserve complete confidentiality and demonstrate sound professional judgment
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job due to its in-person work requirement.
Qualifications Requirements
Required:
- 4+ years of corporate professional experience, preferably in a legal, manufacturing, industrial, or highly regulated business environment
- This is a non-entry-level position requiring a high degree of independent judgment, discretion, and professional maturity
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership or executives in complex, deadline-driven environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft, review, and refine professional-level legal and business documents
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with proven success managing multiple matters simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively resolve issues
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools for document drafting, summarization, research support, or workflow optimization in a professional setting
- Discretion, professionalism, and reliability, including consistent attendance, responsiveness during business hours, and follow-through on assigned matters
- Ability to work independently in a structured, in-office environment with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- Paralegal certificate or formal paralegal training
- Prior experience in legal, manufacturing, industrial, or regulatory compliance environments
Key Skills
Expert level knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs and applicationsExperience with contract management softwareFamiliarity with electronic legal research platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.Working Conditions
