This position will report to the Deputy General Counsel and will support general liability and labor & employment claims and litigation and will work directly with multiple attorneys on the legal team. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized General Liability and Labor & Employment Paralegal to support the in-house Legal Team handling a variety of litigation matters, including personal injury, premises liability, labor & employment and other areas as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in the management of claims and litigation in a wide range of areas including general liability, wage and hour, employment discrimination, labor, premises liability, and regulatory liability including all other general areas.
  • The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of case management from inception through discovery and trial preparation including:
    • Ensure that deadlines are met and internal reporting is completed timely.
    • Manage case calendars and track litigation deadlines, hearings, depositions, and internal meetings. 
    • Review billing documents and case reporting from outside counsel. 
    • Assist with the development and execution of litigation holds.
    • Manage service of process and open new files in the Company’s online litigation management system.
    • Manage other projects as required or assigned.

Role Responsibilities

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal Certificate preferred. 
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably in the areas of general liability, personal injury, and/or labor & employment law.
  • Experience with discovery, document management, litigation hold development and tracking, and case management.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, both in the corporate environment and at the park level.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with online legal research, online document management, e-billing and legal hold systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience working with complex litigation, such as class or collective actions or multiple plaintiff claims, is preferred.
  • Experience working in an in-house legal environment preferred.
