Job Description

Talis Group’s company client is a large Litigation Law firm located Indianapolis. They want to hire a Paralegal to support cases in Civil Defense Litigation, such as trucking accident litigation, premises liability, workers compensation defense and similar. Full benefits package, paid time off, and profit sharing.

This position is full time, 100% remote but does require you live in commutable distance (Indiana or Kentucky) for occasional in person meetings. Yearly raises, discretionary bonuses and paid time offered along with health insurance, disability, 401k and more.

Highlighted Duties:

Medical records requests and summarization
Electronic filings in federal and state courts
Occasional legal facts and basic legal research
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, document preparation and scheduling.

Highlighted Requirements

MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and Adobe software experience desired.
Previous paralegal support in civil defense litigation- preferably insurance defense
Previous experience with efiling, medical records requests and summaries desired.
Experience using legal billing software
Exceptional organizational skills, willingness to accept direction, follow procedures and work within a team are required.
