Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel within the Packaging & Color Management legal team, the Paralegal plays a critical role in supporting the global Legal & Compliance function. In this position, you will help ensure efficient contract management, strong compliance practices, and well‑run legal operations-enabling the business to move forward with confidence.

This role is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and operates in a hybrid work environment.

Some travel may be required for this role, not more than 5% per year.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Managing and maintaining the Contract Management System (Agiloft), including contract entry, tracking, reporting, and renewals.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and administering routine agreements such as nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) Royalty Free License Agreements, Restricted Use Agreements, Beta NDAs under attorney supervision.
  • Supporting legal operations by managing Legal Tracker for matter and invoice tracking and coordinating with Finance and outside counsel.
  • Organizing and maintaining accurate legal records, files, and documentation.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing summaries, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting corporate governance activities.
  • Supporting litigation and compliance activities as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a corporate legal environment.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating NDA's and basic agreements.
  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle management processes and systems (Agiloft preferred).
  • Exposure to matter management and legal billing tools (Legal Tracker preferred)

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $70000 - $80000 USD per year.
