Experience Level: 1+ yearsOffice Location: Albany, New YorkWork Schedule: In-Office, Mon-Friday, with occasional/rare overtime as neededCompensation Range: $26.44-$31.25/hour
Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP’s Financial Services Practice Group is seeking a paralegal to join its team at our 80 State Street location.
The Role:
- Reviewing credit approvals and Legal Due Diligence (LDD) to prepare consumer demand loan packages for banking clients
- Organizing communications between clients and attorneys regarding inquiries, follow-ups, and information requests
- Drafting Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Financial Statements and Amendments and preparing summaries of entities with active UCC filings according to each state's jurisdiction
- Tracking status of deposit account control agreements
- Perform administrative tasks with supporting staff
Skills for Success:
- Very strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
Required:
- College Degree, paralegal certificate, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
