We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our Labor Relations Manager in the Human Resources Department. Role Summary
In this role, you will provide legal, administrative, and research support, assisting with collective bargaining, grievance administration, arbitration preparation, labor-related investigations, and compliance activities. You will also work closely with the Office of General Counsel as assigned.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support labor and employment matters, including grievances, arbitrations, investigations, and contract administration.
- Coordinate document collection, review, and production.
- Perform labor-related and legal research, analyze issues, and prepare draft documents.
- Assist with complaints, claims, grievances, and labor matters documentation.
- Prepare documents and materials for arbitration, mediation, and other proceedings.
- Manage labor and legal data, correspondence, files, reports, and documentation.
- Prepare agendas and materials for meetings, take detailed notes, and track action items.
Requirements
- Paralegal/Legal Assistant certificate from an ABA-accredited program, Associate Degree in Paralegal/Legal Assistant Studies, or Five (5) years of experience.
- Three (3) years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in labor or employment law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong ability to draft legal documents and analyze complex contracts and legal documents.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Preferences
- Experience handling highly confidential information.
- Knowledge of electronic and paper-based filing and record-tracking systems.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
