Trial Paralegal / Senior Legal Assistant Northwest Houston, TX (In-Office)$85,000$120,000 + Bonus A well-established law firm in Northwest Houston is seeking a seasoned Trial Paralegal / Senior Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling high-volume pharmaceutical and mass tort litigation. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing complex cases from intake through trial.What Were Looking For:
- 5+ years of litigation experience (required), ideally in high-volume environments
- Mass tort or pharmaceutical litigation experience strongly preferred
- Bachelors degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal e-filing systems
- Experience with litigation support platforms (such as Relativity, DISCO, or similar)
- Proficiency with legal research tools (PACER, LexisNexis, Westlaw)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal teams
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Managing e-filing and ensuring compliance with court deadlines
- Supporting trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and witness coordination
- Maintaining case files, timelines, and litigation tracking
- Communicating with clients, attorneys, and external stakeholders
