Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking to hire a full-time Paraprofessional in Boulder, CO. Part time position (20 hours per week). If so, this may be the position for you!This is an elementary position in an intensive learning center for students with autism.· Working hours are approximately 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.· Only work during student attendance days, except for 2 or 3 days training during the year This position comes with a competitive hourly rate and generous benefits. Our benefits package includes:Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance with company contributionIRA with company matching Required:Must have a minimum of two years of special education public school classroom experience, training facility or private facility will not be considered as classroom experience.Must have reliable transportation.Must be a flexible team player.       Responsibilities:Assist students with disabilities in boarding and exiting the bus safely when needed.Ensure all students are seated and secured properly during transit when needed.Provide support to students with mobility challenges, including assisting with wheelchairs and other mobility aids.Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe and orderly environment.Attend to the needs of individual students, including assisting with personal care tasks if necessary.Follow established safety protocols and emergency procedures in the event of an incident or emergency.Help out with other tasks in the school when needed.ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?Do you have strong communication skills?
