Job Description

The Buffalo Grove Park District is accepting applications for a Seasonal Parks Department Laborer.  This employee will work an average of 40 hours per week.  This is a part-time, seasonal position.  This position is available from May 11 - September.  Hours are 7 am to 3 pm Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:

  • A high school degree or equivalent
  • Experience in park maintenance or related field
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Duties:

  • Performs daily park maintenance and site clean-up.
  • Observes and reports safety issues and maintenance issues.
  • Operates vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform daily safety check on hand tools, equipment, and vehicles.
    • Interacts with the general public and collaborates with co-workers.Perform other duties as assigned.
    Hours:
    7 am to 3:00pm

    Hourly Rate: $17 - $20 per hour, depending on experience
