Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Maintaining a neat, clean appearance in all public areas of the Hotel, including hallways, lobbies, dining rooms, etc.

• Reporting any necessary repairs

• Dusting and cleaning furniture

• Cleaning all ladies' rooms

• Emptying trash, vacuuming, emptying ash trays

• Finishing late checkout rooms and periodically helping to clean other guest rooms.

• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age older.

• To better accommodate the needs of our guests, this position is available for Male only.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Similar work experience is helpful, but not necessary.

• Friendly personality and neat appearance.

• Considerable walking involved with some heavy lifting and pushing required.

• Must be able to communicate with guests.

• Ability to work independently and be motivated.

Job Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

• Normal working hours will be 1st shift (hours vary depending upon housecount); weekends and holidays. Two days off will vary.

• Proper footwear to be provided by employee.

• Will be working around cleaning chemicals.

• This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on seniority. The candidate must be able to meet scheduled requirements which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
