The Department of Physics & Astronomy (https://physics.wvu.edu/) at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-time Adjunct Teaching Positions. Areas of need include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate physics and astronomy classes to both majors and non-majors
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in-person or online courses in the Department of Physics & Astronomy's undergraduate and graduate programs.
Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis.
These positions require a master's or doctoral degree in Physics, Astronomy, or a closely related discipline, along with evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. Generally, individuals with a doctoral degree are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses; individuals with a master's degree are eligible to teach undergraduate courses.
