Part-time Administrative Assistant

We are actively seeking a part-time administrative assistant to be a part of our Physical Therapy Administrative team.

This position is an in-person position ensuring the smooth operation of our Physical Therapy practice. This position involves a combination of scheduling, fielding clinic calls, scanning and filing, and other miscellaneous side projects our practice manager needs assistance with.

Key Responsibilities

• Field phone calls, respond to inquires, and provide information about the practice's services.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently, considering therapist availability and patient preferences.
• Manage appointment cancellations, rescheduling requests, waitlists.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
• Effectively communicate with patients, therapists, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and positive patient experience.

Hours: Flexible, 20 hours weekly

Compensation: $23-25 an hour

Qualifications:

• Highschool graduate or equivalent
• Medical clerical experience strongly preferred
• Basic computer knowledge, e.g., Microsoft office and prior experience with EMRs
• Self-starter and detail oriented
• Tactful interpersonal relationships
