Job Description
The Lokey Agency, a locally owned Allstate Insurance agency serving Scottsboro and Jackson County, is looking for a part-time appointment setter / outbound caller to join our office team.
In this role you will make outbound calls to local residents to offer a free insurance coverage review and schedule quote appointments for our licensed agents.
You are not selling insurance over the phone. Your job is simply to start friendly conversations and schedule appointments.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys talking with people and wants stable part-time hours in a professional office environment.
Salary Range: $12.00 per hour

Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to prospective customers
Introduce our local Allstate agency
Offer a free insurance coverage review
Schedule quote appointments for licensed agents
Update call notes and results in our system
Maintain a friendly and professional tone on calls

What a Typical Shift Looks Like
(Important please read before applying)
This role involves making a high volume of outbound phone calls to local residents.
During a typical shift you will:
Make 80120 outbound calls
Speak with 1020 people
Schedule 35 appointments for quotes
Some people will not be interested, and that is completely normal. We are looking for someone who stays positive, enjoys talking with people, and is comfortable making phone calls throughout their shift.
