Part-Time Bookkeeper Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center, together with Express Lab, Rocky Mountain Clinical Research, and Rocky Mountain Pharmacy, is looking to hire a part-time Bookkeeper. Our employees play an important role in helping our organizations operate efficiently and fulfill their missions.  A Day in the Life of a BookkeeperAs our Bookkeeper, you help ensure that employees are paid correctly and vendors are paid accurately and on time. You process payroll for all four companies, review approved timecards and payroll changes, maintain payroll records, coordinate authorized deductions, and assist with payroll reporting.You also manage the day-to-day accounts-payable process. You receive, organize, code, and enter invoices; verify that appropriate approvals and documentation have been obtained; maintain vendor records; reconcile vendor statements; and prepare checks and electronic payments for management approval.Because our organizations include four affiliated companies, you help allocate payroll and shared expenses to the correct company, department, and location. You also assist with reconciliations, month-end and year-end activities, W-2 and 1099 reporting, and requests from management and outside accountants.You report to the Human Resources Manager and work closely with company leadership and accounting personnel. Your ability to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and catch discrepancies makes you an important part of our administrative team. QualificationsAt least two years of payroll, accounts-payable, or bookkeeping experience preferred

Experience processing payroll for multiple companies or departments strongly preferred

Familiarity with payroll taxes, wage deductions, garnishments, W-2s, and 1099 reporting

Proficiency with payroll and accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and meet recurring deadlines

Excellent judgment and commitment to confidentiality

Associate degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred, but relevant experience may substitute for education

Healthcare experience is helpful but not required

Work ScheduleThis is a part-time, non-exempt position requiring approximately 20–25 hours per week.
