This temp-to-hire opportunity provides steady hours, independence on the job, and opportunities for advancementincluding performance-based pay raises and comprehensive benefits once hired permanently.What Youll Do: As a Custodian, you will be responsible for:
- Performing thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas within a large, multi-floor commercial building, ensuring a safe and tidy environment.*
- Vacuuming with cordless Dyson vacuums, dusting surfaces, and wiping down furniture and fixtures.*
- Mopping floors, washing windows, and maintaining the cleanliness of restrooms by cleaning and restocking supplies.*
- Disposing of trash and recycling, maintaining cleanliness in front desk areas, hallways, kitchen spaces, and common areas.*
- Organizing and cleaning large conference rooms divided into two sections, ensuring they are ready for meetings and events.*
- Taking on additional cleaning or organizing projects as needed, such as rug washing or shredding documents, to support ongoing facility needs.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.*
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience, preferably in commercial or multi-floor buildings.*
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with a dependable work ethic.*
- Self-motivation, proactive attitude, and reliability.*
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, vacuum, mop, and perform demanding cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
