Part Time Custodian

The Hatfield Rally House is a 60,000 sq. ft. premier indoor tennis and pickleball facility set to open in November 2025. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality sports experience in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels. The facility includes courts, locker rooms, a café, and event space. 

The Custodian plays a key role in supporting the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the Hatfield Rally House. You'll help ensure the facility is ready for daily operations, events, and peak activity times by performing routine cleaning and making sure that all areas are safe to be in. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and takes pride in keeping the Hatfield Rally House at a high standard of cleanliness. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of courts, restrooms, locker rooms, café area, and other common spaces 

• Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify safety or janitorial concerns 

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate resupply needs to supervisor 

• Operate basic janitorial equipment (e.g., vacuums, and mops) safely and effectively 

• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures 

• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests/staff as needed 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work, highly preferred

• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision 

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively 

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and using ladders 

• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends 

• Must be 18 years of age or older 

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with sports or recreational facility operations 

• CPR/First Aid certification a plus 

• Experience with floor care for athletic surfaces is a bonus
