  • Guide students through practical exercises such as:
  • DC and AC circuit analysis and troubleshooting
  • Breadboarding and prototyping
  • Use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and simulation tools
  • Semiconductor device testing and amplifier design
  • Operational amplifier circuits, filters, and frequency response analysis
  • Reinforce online learning with applied demonstrations and real-world scenarios.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on lab performance and support student learning.
  • Maintain and update lab environments to ensure safety, functionality, and relevance.
  • Collaborate with faculty, site staff, and lab technicians to ensure seamless integration between online and in-person learning.
  • Stay current with trends and technologies in electrical and electronics engineering.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Excelsior's hybrid lab model.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in electrical/electronics engineering or related technical roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate asynchronous online learning and in-person lab components.
  • Familiarity with standard lab equipment and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • College-level teaching experience, especially with adults and nontraditional learners.
  • Experience with online teaching platforms, virtual labs, and LMS systems.
  • Industry certifications or licensure (e.g., PE, CET).
  • Experience integrating workforce readiness and applied skills into academic coursework.

Application Note

This posting is for a pool of part-time instructors. Assignments will be based on qualifications, availability, and course needs. Candidates may be considered for multiple EET courses and lab sessions.
