Job Description
Seeking an instructor for the Professional Pilot degree program, to begin August 2026. AER 4040 - Corporate Aviation & Career Preparation.
This course exposes the student to a broad perspective on jobs in the world of aviation with a focus on the culture and operational differences in aviation businesses such as airline, charter, corporate, fractional, and owner-flown operations. The student follows the steps needed to apply for jobs, network, create an aviation resume, complete job applications, and give a successful interview and discovers the kinds of ethical dilemmas they may face in their career. The learn to sort out the many opportunities available and get tips on responding effectively to pressure to compromise safety, personal values, or income. You will manage student progress in Canvas, and prepare curriculum and course activities.
Three credit course meets once per week.
Salary:
Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement. The compensation or range of compensation for this role can be found here (Please reference Article 20/Article 21 on page 25 and 26) to the particular collective bargaining agreement.
