Overview
Job Description
- Lead high-energy, 1-hour Orangetheory group fitness classes
- Coach and motivate members through treadmill, rowing, and strength training blocks
- Provide clear instruction, exercise modifications, and form corrections
- Monitor heart-rate technology and encourage members to stay within target zones
- Create a positive, inclusive, and results-driven studio environment
- Ensure member safety at all times
- Assist with member retention by building strong coach-member relationships
- Arrive 30 minutes early to prepare the studio and stay after class as needed
- Support studio events, challenges, and promotions as requested
- Current group fitness or personal training certification (ACE, NASM, NSCA, ACSM, or equivalent)
- CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- Ability to coach members of all fitness levels
- Comfortable speaking to and leading groups
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Previous group fitness or HIIT coaching experience preferred (but not required—training provided)
- Flexible schedule required
- Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be needed
- Classes are typically 1 hour in length

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
