Job Description

Job Title: JanitorLocation: Detroit Lakes, MNCompensation: $17.25 per hour - paid weeklySchedule: 6:00am-2:00pm | Monday - FridayJob Type: Contract (3-5 months)About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Janitors for a leading company located in Detroit Lakes, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as the Janitor:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe facility environment
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in common areas, offices, and restrooms
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
  • Restock restroom supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet paper)
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Facilities & Maintenance Technician
  • Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
What You Need to Bring to the Janitor Role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards
  • Must be available for the full duration of the assignment (3–5 months)
