The Department of Art & Art History in the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Miami, is soliciting applications for individuals interested in possible part time teaching positions (maximum two courses in a semester). The department is particularly interested in applicants able to teach in the areas of Art History or Studio Art.

Duties will include teaching at the (introductory) undergraduate level in one or more of the following areas: foundations, graphic design/multimedia, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography or art history. It will also include a minimum of three hours per week of office hours per course to meet with students. Minimum qualifications include a terminal degree in Art History or Studio Art and two years teaching/professional experience required.

Applications will be reviewed as received, and this pool will remain open throughout the academic year. An appointment/offer is contingent upon student demand (enrollments) and available funding, with the possibility that final confirmation will not be available until classes begin.
