POSITION SUMMARY

Assists Butchers and Meat Cutters prepare related product for customers. Maintains all conditions, cleanliness of the meat department.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.

Wrap meat products for customers.

Assist Butcher and Meat Cutters in the preparation of products for

customers.

Keeps meat counter and area clean, presentable and

orderly.

Responsible for stocking meat

items.

Maintain meat case conditions and product ready inventory for

business.

Stock smoked and processed meat

products.

Process less specialized meat products such as chicken and ground

beef.

Clean meat preparation area, fresh meat case and process meat cases as

needed.

Maintain department conditions during all periods of business

hours.
