Part-Time Music School Admin - Woodbury, NY

Job Description

Grace Music School is seeking a fun and professional part-time staff member to help administer our Woodbury, NY music school. This staff member will serve as the primary point of contact for our students, families, and teachers to ensure the smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations.

This position is part-time and requires 17-20 hours of availability. The desired hours for this position are the following:

• Wednesday to Friday afternoons/evenings
• Saturdays 8am - 12/1pm.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Greeting students arriving for lessons and ensuring that teachers stay on schedule

- Responding to scheduling-related phone calls and emails from students and families

- Interfacing with teachers to help them manage their student schedules

- Monthly social media posts and meetings

- General administrative tasks as needed

The successful candidate will be an organized, motivated self-starter with a strong customer service mindset. A demonstrated interest in music and music education would be an asset.

We have nearly 50 music teachers who have either conservatory or music school training and most have professional performance experience.
