Job Description
This is a peer-based, shift coverage role that supports women in recovery by maintaining a safe, structured, and recovery-focused home environment. This front-line, direct service role is part of a 24-hour staffing model and includes assigned coverage shifts. Available shifts are 11p-5am, Sunday
- Thursday and 8p
- 5a Friday & Saturday. Duties and Responsibilities:Provide shift coverage and oversight of resident activities while maintaining a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment.Support residents through daily guidance, accountability, orientation, household responsibilities, and adherence to program expectations.Complete operational responsibilities including shift documentation, visitor supervision, meal oversight, drug/alcohol screenings, and assistance with household supplies and maintenance.Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared living spaces, including the kitchen and bathrooms
Available Shifts Sunday- Thursday 11:00PM-5:00AM; Friday & Saturday 8:00PM- 5:00AMMinimum Qualifications:Current Peer Recovery Specialist certification STRONGLY PREFERREDAbility to engage clients in a supportive but structured manner
Experience and knowledge relating to substance use disorders, mental health, and trauma strongly preferred
High school diploma preferred
One to two years of experience in residential setting preferred
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft applications
Background and ability to understand, appreciate, and carry out the Marian House mission; interpersonal skills to engage staff and volunteers in doing same.
