With minimal oversight, you will develop personalized treatment plans, oversee therapy assistants and aides, and ensure the highest level of patient care. Your proactive engagement with facilities and clients is crucial in strengthening professional relationships and growing client connections.
Key Responsibilities: - Exercise your comprehension of state Practice Acts, ensuring all practices and supervisory processes adhere faithfully to legal guidelines. - Uphold operational excellence by following the company’s Clinical Operations Policies & Procedures and comply with all Medicare and OSHA training requirements. - Evaluate and administer essential physical therapy treatments, clearly documenting the medical necessity and progress in patient records. - Manage comprehensive documentation including pre-certifications, physician reports, daily notes, and charge tickets promptly and accurately to adhere to deadlines. - Communicate compassionately and effectively with healthcare teams, family members, and third-party payers. - Take part in facility meetings, contributing meaningfully to topics like utilization review and disaster preparedness.
Desired Skills & Abilities: - Effective teamwork and leadership capabilities for supervising assistants and aides. - Proficient organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. - Strong proficiency in clinical documentation software for efficient management reporting. - Excellent communicative abilities for clear, written, and verbal exchanges.
Physical Requirements: - Facilitate patient care maneuvers, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently. - Engage in walking, bending, standing, and reaching activities throughout your shift. - Ensure sharp visual and auditory acuity to assess patient needs comprehensively.
Qualifications: - Hold a degree from an accredited CAPTE physical therapy program or equivalent. - Secure a valid state license for physical therapy practice.
