Part-Time Produce Clerk

Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Produce Clerk to join our team and assist with the daily operation of our Produce Department. The Produce Clerk  will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, cutting fruits and vegetables and assisting the Produce manager and Assistant with various tasks as needed. The successful candidate will have strong teamwork skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Cutting fruit and vegetables.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including adhering to cleaning schedules and safety protocols

• Assist the Produce Manager and Assistant with various tasks as needed, including inventory management and truck.

• Follow instructions and guidelines from the Produce Manager.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong teamwork skills

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Knowledge of food safety guidelines is a plus.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus

  • Being able to use a step ladder with ease. 
  • Must have clear communication skills to be able to help our customers.
