Job Description
Association seeking a dynamic, part-time Program Manager to lead the strategic direction, events, fundraising, and communications. Flexible part-time schedule of 20-32 hours per week, days and hours negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and execution of major annual fundraising events
- Cultivate new memberships and donor relationships using the alumni database
- Manage the publication of the semi-annual newsletter, including story writing and coordination with designers and printers
- Oversee social media presence (Facebook, Instagram) and website updates
- Coordinate press releases and event marketing with local media
- Support classes with reunion planning
- Serve as a liaison for the Advisory Board and Committees
Qualifications:
- Event planning experience required
- Strong writing, editing, and/or newsletter publishing skills
- Public and community relations experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Preferred: Experience with WordPress or similar CMS; experience with Bloomerang or similar donor database
