Job Description

The Security Supervisor is responsible for managing the security operation during a particular shift which includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:Conduct roll calls and ensure that all security officers are present, in proper uniform, and aware of their post orders and all current events which are related to this location.Ensure that security officers are knowledgeable about recent incidents and provide guidance on how established protocols should be followed.Inspect all security officers while they are on post.Respond to all incidents and conduct preliminary investigation.Prepare detailed Incident Reports.Act as the point of contact for the NYPD, FDNY, and other city agencies upon their arrival on site.Direct personnel changes during the shift and adjust posts as necessary.Respond to all emergencies, fire alarms, criminal events, medical issues, and newsworthy incidents and provide direction to our staff while coordinating the responding emergency services response.Type and Length of Specific Experience RequiredFive (5) years Supervisory experience required.Former Law Enforcement, Military, FDNYSkills RequiredAbility to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors

OtherMust have access to reliable transportation.Conduct quality site inspections and Supervise day-to-day operations at sites.Collection of timesheets and reports as required.Engage, supervise, and help train security officers.Will be responsible for coaching, development, and support of security staff.Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with our policies and applicable City & State laws.Maintain a professional attitude with all interactions with clients, employees, and security officers.Must prepare written statements and investigations in a clear and concise manner.Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints and compile data for accurate reporting.The Security Supervisor will act as a liaison between our patrons, Security Officers, and the main office.Ability to write effective and concise reports in neat, legible handwriting is required.All retired Police personnel are required to have a current New York State Security Guard License.Benefit Conditions:Waiting period may apply

Hours per week:3 days/week, Monday- Wednesday 6am-shift end times vary
